Experimental Speaker
This table top multi-directional speaker systems shape is based on Lord Kelvin's minimal space dividing cell. This unit provides a unique and lovely way to listen to sound. This table speaker utilizes the platonic solid the Tetrakaidecahedra, a 14 sided platonic solid. There are 8 speakers in this unit one on every polygon. Composing the speakers in such a way allows for Multi-directional and unique sound reproduction. Placed in the center of a space the table speaker ball fills the space and each place in the room with evan sound. This speaker is crafted of 1/4 inch veneer with hardwood joints. The eight two inch multi-media speakers are wired in a series to a 1/4 inch. Only a Small amp is required to power this unit to a pretty good volume. I have been using a small computer sound system out.
