collaborative works = (Pendulum Translator)

The Pendulum Translator is an Arius Blaze and Ben Houston collaborational work and is a part of the filanthropod series.

The Sound possibilities for this piece are ridiculous. We've discovered that it actually evolves as you play it. Not at all kidding. It is of the filanthropd series so there's more info on the basics here:

filanthropod.

Also those sounds that we've suppllied for that element of the series also apply to this piece. But this is an entirely new level and so we're supplying a bunch of sound for you to sift through here. Also many of the sounds we supply here can be discovered on the other works in the same series.

This piece has four main control knobs for drastically altering the sound. These are extremely precision and the slightest turn of any of them will yield new possibilities.

There is a section to the right with a four point keyboard, which also connects to 4 patch points + one main point (banana jacks)...These will allow those with the ability to sequence some of these controls to synch up with other gear.

There is a volume control, power kill (which changes the function of the piece as a whole), and a switch to change modes. The potential is phenomenal and the possibilities are limitless. This unit creates standing waves and explosive bass frequency. Evolving synthesis.

Here are some new sounds - unedited, uneffected, unaltered = enjoy:

Pendulum1

The first sound sample is the pendulum playing itself, I activated it, hit record and walked away for a few.

Pendulum2

The second sample is the alteration of a captured sound

Pendulum3

This third sample is some of the sweeter sounds the pendum creates - can be easily captured at will.

Pendulum4

And finally - just added this one...the pendulum swings into some evolutionary territory after a solid 20 minutes of playtime.
